CBD stands for Cannabidiol, one of the many nutritive components in hemp. It is also available from other plants.   of CBD.  The term”CBD oil,” as it is commonly used, has come to represent an oil that is high CBD with a low or zero THC content.

Are CBD oil and hemp seed the same thing?

Hemp  seed  oil is a food product made from pressed hemp seeds. Hemp  seed  oil is a highly nutritious food product which contains no CBD.  There are companies who choose to use the term “Hemp Extract” to denote that it is a high CBD product. The verbiage matters less than that the product is purchased from a reputable retailer/brand as anything can be put on a label. All of 7LC’s products are CBD rich.

Why are some of 7LC’s products labeled as “ Hemp” and some labeled as “CBD?”

While all 7LC products do contain CBD in different dosages, American grown CBD hemp tends to be labeled as " H emp," while  European CBD products tend to be labeled as  “CBD." This is due to current legal issues within the cannabis industry and in the USA. 

Will CBD Get me high?

Nope!  CBD products has a very low THC content (less than 0.3%) and in turn, is not psychoactive or intoxicating. It is important to note that one often feels relaxed and much more at ease after consuming CBD.

Is CBD Made From Marijuana?

While CBD can be derived from Marijuana,CBD, such as the CBD we carry, is generally hemp derived when sold in retail settings. In addition to that, CBD extracted from industrial hemp contains much more CBD and almost no amounts of THC, unlike Marijuana.

What’s the BEST way to take CBD?

This question leads us to several other questions that will factor in to the answer. In example, what type of issues are you dealing with? As far as CBD goes, certain modalities tend to work better for certain health issues. While there is no wrong way to take CBD, our educated staff is happy to help and enlighten you about each product and how it is to be used!

Will you test positive on a drug test if you take CBD products?

Everyone has a different body. Everyone metabolizes full spectrum CBD oils in a different manner. While generally 0% THC products tend to NOT test positive on drug tests testing for THC content- However, if the test is focused on testing for all cannabinoids, CBD is a cannabinoid.

Do I need a license/prescription to purchase CBD?

No! Since CBD is legal in most of the United States, no license is required. However, for our first responder and military discount program, we will need proper ID to issue the discount.

Is CBD with a higher milligram mass the way to go?

While each individual and their body is unique and thus problems tend to vary, certain brands and health issues tend to require specific dosing. We tend to recommend specific dosing on a case by case basis. A little is good, but more is not always necessary!

What is THC?

Most people know that THC, or tetrahydrocannabinol, is the chemical compound in cannabis responsible for a euphoric high.THC has likely been synonymous with cannabis in your mind for as long as you’ve known about the plant. While CBD and THC differ in effects as far as the psychoactive aspect goes, they are both powerful anti -inflammatories and both integral parts of the hemp and marijuana plants!

Is CBD legal Nationwide?

CBD that is extracted from hemp (which must have an extremely low level of THC) has been legal nationwide  and removed from the DEA’s controlled substance list,  since the Agriculture Improvement Act — better known as the Farm Act — that was passed in December 2018.
